Items Accepted at the Perry County Recycling
Centers until further notice.
Millerstown Recycling held at the
Community Park on the
last Saturday of each month from 8 until 10 a.m.
Aluminum Cans
Rinsed and crushed. Foil is also accepted.
Bi-metal (tin) Cans
Rinsed and crushed.
Plastic Jugs, Jars & Bottles (All #1 and #2)
Rinsed, no caps or lids, and crushed if possible.
Separated as follows:
· Clear Milk and gallon water jugs (#2)
· Soda and small water bottles (#1)
· Detergent bottles and colored milk jugs (white & yellow)
Newspapers
Tied securely. May also be in paper bags. NO plastic bags!
Magazines
Tied securely. May also be in paper bags. NO plastic bags!
Cardboard
Flattened cardboard, cereal and shipping boxes. NO packing material.
Books
All books will be accepted. (hardbacks, paperbacks, phone books, etc.)
All Perry County Recycling Centers are manned by volunteers. Having your recyclables separated and rinsed with the lids removed when you arrive at the drop-off is greatly appreciated.
Please do NOT have trash in with your recyclables!
