 Brush Pick-Up Effective July 1, 2006 To All Millerstown Borough Residents: The Millerstown Borough Council would like to thank all residents who have been disposing of their brush & leaves in accordance with established guidelines and remind all other residents to PLEASE read over and follow the guidelines below. There have been several incidents of residents covering animal waste, diapers, rocks, etc. with brush. This courtesy service is not intended for removal of any other products. Also, any brush must be cut to 3 foot sections and bundled. The Council will be forced to discontinue this service if the abuse does not cease. Any questions, please call the Borough office. Brush & Leaf Removal Rules This is a reminder to all borough residents that our employees will pick up brush and leaves on Tuesdays each week during nice weather as a SERVICE to the town. The following are the guidelines which must be followed explicitly. Please bag all leaves and keep the bags free of trash and other non-organic materials. All brush must be cut into compact three foot sections and bundled. Grass clippings, sod, produce, garden waste, food items, and ANY OTHER TRASH WILL NOT be picked up. The maximum individual bag weight limit is 50 pounds. Brush and leaves not originating from your own yard or property will not be picked up, i.e. lawn business,etc. Please put out Christmas trees as soon as possible after New Years Day. Once again, failure to comply will result in discontinuation of this service. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Millerstown Borough Council
