September 22: Community Day 2018:  Join us at Millerstown Community Park, Millerstown on Saturday Sept 22 from 11 am - 3 pm for a full course pig roast lunch, participate in a chili cookoff (entries still being accepted), let the kids play in the fun zone and shop the vendors (vendors still being accepted).  All proceeds benefit Millerstown Fire Company.  Event is hosted by New Harvest Community Church, Millerstown.  For more information email newharvest@embarqmail.com. Meat Raffle at 7 p.m. at the Firehouse. October 25: HALLOWEEN PARADE The Millerstown Lions Club have finalized plans for their annual Halloween Parade for Thursday, October 25 at 7 p.m. The parade will form behind Greenwood High School at 6:30 p.m. and will move out promptly at 7 p.m led by the Greenwood High School Wildcat Marching Band. Cash prizes will be awarded to individuals dressed for the holiday season in these categories: funniest, prettiest, scariest and most original. Cash prizes will also be awarded for floats and marching groups. The parade will leave Greenwood High School and move down Sunbury Street to the Square, proceed up Market Street to Millerstown Motors, turn right up Greenwood Street to the Millerstown United Methodist Church, turn right onto High Street, and turn back on to Sunbury Street and return to the high school where it will disband. The parade will be canceled if there is rain. Let's make this one of the largest parades ever and celebrate the Halloween season.
