Kitchen will be open @ 5pm for delicious food & refreshments. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Millerstown Park and Recreation Fundraising Committee is now selling a 100 percent finest quality Cotton Throw featuring 21 historical photographs from the Millerstown area, most of them are from old post cards from the early 1900's.  It measures 48 x 60 inches and the cost is $50.  It is a great collectible and gift for many events, birthdays, Christmas, etc.  We are now taking orders and the first shipment will probably be here in 5-6 weeks.  We will also be ordering again depending on how many will be sold.  Contact Curt Black (717-589-3598) for more information.   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- June 7 through 10: SUPERHEROES! Millerstown United Methodist Charge Vacation Bible School Bible School will be held outdoors at the Millerstown Community Park from 6:30-8:00 pm beginning Monday, June 7 through Thursday, June 10. The location at the park will be in the area of MCSI Pavalion near the playground and Little Library. The Theme for this year is SUPERHEROES! We will be having groups for 4 year olds through 5 th Grade. Masks will be worn, please. If a night is rained out, it will not be rescheduled. Pre-Registration is $12 before July 17, day of show registration is $15. Over 200 vehicles are expected for the popular show. The show is open to all makes, models and years of cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles. Awards will be given to the top 3 in each class chosen by entrants Ric's Pick, People's Choice and Big 3 Dealers Choice Awards. Other awards include: Celebrity Pick, Best Paint, and Best Car Club Showing. Vehicle registration ends and Judging begins at noon. Awards ceremony will be held at 4 pm. There will be car games with trophies and door prizes for Entrants. Craft, Flea, and Antique vendor spaces are also available for a 15 x 25 foot space for $15 with limited available space. The show will be rocking with live DJ Entertainment. Food will be sold by the Millerstown Recreational Committee.  Bring the kids!!!! Big Wheel Races for ages 3-7 with trophies. There will also be 50/50 raffles, and event apparel for sale. Proceeds benefit the continued development and upkeep of the Millerstown Community Park. Millerstown Community Park is located at 110 W Juniata Parkway just outside Millerstown on West Juniata Parkway beside the Millerstown Community Swimming Pool. Public is invited and there is no admission charge. No pets, alcohol or bikes are allowed. Plans have been finalized for the popular outdoor flea market and Craft Show sponsored by Millerstown Community Success, Inc for Saturday, August 21; Rain date will be Saturday, August 28. This great popular event will be at the Millerstown Area Community Park, just off of 22-322 Millerstown Exit on Old Route 22-322 east of Millerstown beside the Millerstown Community Swimming Pool. There will be plenty of room for both vendor set up and shopper parking at the sprawling and spacious park facility. The event will be held from 7 a.m until 2 p.m. Vendors can arrive beginning at 5:30 a.m; no reservations are required and a nominal $10 set up fee will be charged to set up for the day. Spaces measure 15 x 25 feet, fees will be collected after set up, and ask our vendors to stay set up until the closing time. All types of vendors are being sought for over 100 available spaces; there’s plenty of room for everyone. Flea Market Vendors, Yard Sale Vendors, Antique Vendors, Craft Vendors, Collectible Vendors, Business Vendors, and Farm Produce Vendors are invited to set up for the popular market; all spaces will allow vendors to park their vehicles right on the space and sell from their trailers, trucks, or cars. A food and drink stand will be operated by MCSI throughout the day; there will be plenty of parking for shoppers, and restroom facilities are available. Millerstown Community Success, Inc (MCSI) is Millerstown’s newest community organization and has is incorporated and has become a 501-c3, non-profit organization. Among the organization's goals are to create positive community spirit and unity, develop pride in home and property ownership and to revitalize the historic town square. Proceeds from the Flea Market will be used to accomplish these goals.
