March 30: The Millerstown Lions Club will sponsor a much needed Community Service Project on Saturday, March 30 from 8 a.m until 12 noon at the Millerstown Park Community Building at 110 W. Juniata Parkway just outside of Millerstown on old Route 22. There will be a Blood Drive and Free Vision and Hearing Screenings. These screenings may identify Sight and Hearing issues that may cause obstacles in learning or workshop settings. Anyone over the age of 6 months may be tested, but persons under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present. Consider getting your eyes and hearing checked by a qualified Lion's team now! Everyone who donates Blood receives 2 free admission vouchers to a Harrisburg Comedy Zone Show! A form of ID is required to donate blood. For more information, 1-800-771-0059 or 717giveblood.org April 7: The Reward Youth Group is having a Thanksgiving in Spring Dinner at the Church on April 7, 2019, from 11:00 to 2:00 p.m.  The meals includes Turkey with Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Vegetable, Homemade Cranberry Relish, Roll, Slice of Pie or Cake and a Beverage (Eat-in only).  The Cost is a Donation toward the Youth attending Church Camp and other Youth Group Activities.  Join us for the Dinner in the Church Basement or Take Outs are available as well.  The Dinner is presented with Love by the Reward Youth Group.  God Bless!  We look forward to seeing you! Church will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Refreshments will be provided plus Crafts for the children.  The Church is located at 611 Perry Valley Road, Millerstown, PA.  Everyone is welcome to join the Church on this Special Day.  Ages are Pre-School to Sixth Grade.  Rain or Shine. Sip-n-Dip Spring Festival - May 4th Mid-Penn Cornhole Tournament  May 4th - details ….. Tickets are available through any of the Pool Pals. June 22: There will be a concert at the park on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 6 -10 p.m. The band Pentagon from the Mechanicsburg area will be performing.  The band which was  formed in 1971 is made up of 6 members and they play rock n' roll and R&B. One of the members is Gary Webber, a former Greenwood music teacher. Admission will be $10 per person with kids under 12 free. This is a benefit concert for the park. More details will follow.
