Overview :
Millerstown Borough is located on the eastern bank of the Juniata River,
scenically set in the rolling hills of Perry County. Once a thriving town during
Canal Days, it now serves as a quiet residential community, rich in historical lore.
Millerstown lies thirty-three miles west of the State Capital, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania,
and is the oldest town in Perry County. It is located at the junctions of U.S. 22/322
and PA. Rt. 17. It has a land area of .86 square miles, with a 2000 census population
of 649.

Thanks to everyone who has helped to make the Millerstown Park a reality. Because of an extremely generous bequest from a late resident, and also countless weeks, months and years of very hard work, hours of meetings, state grants, and very kind donations of time, materials and money, it is wonderful to see the park really taking shape and form.
Volunteer group of citizens striving to improve the visual aesthetics of Millerstown. Notable projects are the lighting of the square flagpole, totally rebuilt traffic islands, welcome signs entering town, lighting of the town entrance ramp from Rt.22/322, annual square cleanup, hosting of annual flea market, 7 years of sponsoring Christmas in Millerstown, and seasonal decorations and plantings in the square.
Perry Valley Grange is an all-volunteer family organization serving its local, state, national and world community continually since 1919. Today's Grange is an organization open to all those with an interest in helping others through community involvement.
In 205 countries, in hospitals and senior centers, in regions battered by natural disaster, in schools and eyeglass recycling centers, and in your hometown, Lions are at work, helping, leading, planning and supporting. Because we're local, we can serve the unique needs of the communities we live in.
